Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation in which you enter a trance. This sounds frightening but we go into a similar trance many times a day reading, watching TV or even driving a car.
There is no such thing as a "hypnotized feeling", but you will feel very mentally and physically relaxed.
Yes. You will be fully conscious at all times and will hear and remember everything that takes place.
No. You would not do or say anything which conflicts with your personal moral code or beliefs. In fact you will be able to stop at any time you choose.
Generally, yes it does require the ability to concentrate the mind for a few seconds. Very young children, people under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or people with certain mental conditions may not have the concentration required.
I believe that therapy should be over as few sessions as possible and the majority of clients need only one session. But this will depend on the individual and the problem that is being dealt with.
